In 2025, Forksy started as a playful experiment to make choosing where to eat easier — whether solo, with a partner, or in a group. What began as a fix for the endless "I don't know, what do you want?" cycle quickly became something more: a smarter, swipe-based way to turn cravings into real meals. Now gearing up for launch, Forksy has drawn thousands of hungry locals, hundreds of restaurants, and a growing network of creators — all ready to reshape how we choose food, together.

Forksy is a mobile app that helps people decide where to eat—whether they're solo, with a partner, or in a group. Instead of endless scrolling or vague "I don't care"s, users swipe through nearby restaurants based on their cravings. When everyone matches on the same spot, dinner is officially decided.
The app blends individual taste profiles, group decision logic, and local restaurant discovery—all with the speed and delight of a dating app.

Fixing the Frustrationsof Food Choice
People spend hours debating where to eat. Restaurants spend thousands trying to stand out. We saw an opportunity to make this easier for both sides. Forksy was born from a simple belief: food discovery should be fun, fast, and actually collaborative.
In a time where social dining is on the rise and local discovery feels impersonal, Forksy offers a lightweight but meaningful fix—with real-world utility and viral potential baked in.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
Gaining SteamBefore the First Bite
We're pre-launch with early momentum. Over 15,000 users have already joined our waitlist in Rhode Island, and we're working closely with local creators and restaurant partners to refine the experience before launch.
On the tech side, our matching system, taste profiling, and swiping flows are live in internal builds. We're currently testing UX flows, creator tools, and partner onboarding for Forksy+.
